You knew where this was headed.
Our beautiful pair of foxes from last year are back.
Which means I’m laying in a steady supply of grain free vitamin filled dry dog food with taurine.
Along with fresh strawberries and blueberries.
Why?
Because a veterinarian friend told me that’s the best thing to feed them.
And because this:
Is only available for sale in England.
Chipmonks, deer, foxes, husband–you have them all, don’t you? Ever mix up who eats what?

The skunk eats the fox food, the woodchuck eats the deer grain, the husband eats everything I put in front of him.

Wow! I want to be a fox in your neighborhood.
One question – after you feed them, what does the fox say? (Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.)

I admit I had to look that one up…. and now I’m sorry I did.
But to be honest, they squeal.

My husband introduced this song to the kids and I. It’s wormed deep into my brain and never getting out now. Like…. Skibidi by Little Big.

Never heard of taurine before this. But that fox doesn’t look malnourished ….

Your such a wonderful landlady, you feed all your tenants and they, in turn let you take their picture! What beautiful foxes, no pun intended. 🦊

Such beautiful creatures! Lots of fox here, although slightly different in coloring; I guess yours are gray foxes, ours are red. Such fun creatures to observe, curious and fast. Here, they enjoy taunting my dogs but stay far enough away that I never get good photos like yours. Very smart canids, with wicked senses of humor!

Ours are in the midst of blowing winter coats. But yes, always beautiful.

We have chubby visitors. I doubt it’s a coincidence.

I feed wild animals. Across the road from my house. I found a freaking rodent has dug UNDER my garage and has made a mess. No more food for him!!

We have woodchuck holes. Chipmunk holes. Mole holes. And a squirrel who is using the woodshed as a winter larder. Found a crust if bread in the rafters the other day.
