Have I mentioned how much I love the baby woodchucks?
If not, get used to it… because I’ve been spending a lot of time making friends with them.
I’ve found sliced apples are a great ice breaker.
And if I’m enjoying a little Crown Royal apple while making woodchuck friends… all the better.
It took a while for them to get used to me and they were pretty hesitant to come out with me so close.
But the lure of apples proved too much.
Admit it.
That’s pretty damned cute.
uh huh

They are indeed, pretty damned cute. They have the cutest little faces. I like all those furry cuties of the wild.

They are indeed adorable. Love all the bird song going on in the videos as well.

Making friends with Nature’s Own is extremely hard. I’ve raised goats from birth and even several years later – many of them are still not trusting of me, and my sheep… none of them are.

You may want to examine the common denominator here….

So when are you going to train them to chuck wood so we can finally get an answer to that eternal question?

That might take a little more time….

The answer is 42

But what was the question?

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

There are 6 of them and no way to tell them apart. One is brave, one is skittish and one hissed at me…. other than that? They all love apples. So no.
