That was his reason for coming home with this:
He saw it on the side of the road on his way home from Lowes.
Imagine it.
Someone no longer wanted this filthy, faded, and broken in two places crab sand box.
The husband thought one of our neighbor’s kids would want it, which was thoughtful.
But guess what?
None of them did.
So it shouldn’t surprise you that this is where it ended the day.
Talk about the circle of life…

Does he watch “Hoarders”?

Of course not.
He’d argue that he isn’t one.

He sees absolutely nothing wrong with that.

He needs a mission! Kind of like my husband.

I have a honey do list a mile long. He never seems to need that!

My husband has a list but he will find things to do, also kind of like your husband. But he does not collect stuff except books.

Now there’s a collection worth having.

That thing would last about two minutes on the curb in our neighborhood. Within an hour it would be somebody’s front yard pool.

Post script:
It sat out there for 4 days, burned round holes in our lawn and then made its way to the recycle barn. I’m not saying how….

If your sign said “FREE — REDUCED FROM $1,000,000”, it would probably be gone already.

If it didn’t have the eyes I’m sure someone would take it. Whoever got rid of it was clearly tired of that creepy thing staring at them.

And we really can’t blame them for that..

But…the little chucks need a pool no? 😎

Technically it was a sand box.. and they do enough digging already!

That’s why you fill it with water!

It had 2 holes in it. And no one needs a giant pink sprinkler with eyes.

I could go for it if it wasn’t that hideous color of orange. Looks sturdy enough for dogs …

It was actually pink, a very faded red. Think boiled crab….

Well he could have at least washed it out–not everyone is like him and will pick up dirty crabs!!!

No one should pick up dirty crabs!

Poor Crabby actually looks very sad in that last photo, desperate for somebody to come along who wants him…

And no one did.
No one ever wants crabs..

This situation can be fixed… sell the pick-up.

Great idea! He’d have a hard time fitting that in his little BMW.

Showed my daughter. She laughed and said that’s something I’d do 😳

I’d rather have the sign that says “free.”

That sign has come in handy let me tell you…..
Mostly when the husband is out of town.
But, still.

Oh my gosh, I am shaking my head and laughing out loud. At least he didn’t keep it to store his prize dirt pile in.

Damn. I’m glad he didn’t think of that!

I think the right choice was made here.

As far as I’m concerned, it was the only choice.
