.
Things have started appearing on our barn porch.
.
.
Rusty things.
.
.
Old things.
.
.
Things that look like my husband chose them.
.
.
He swears he didn’t, and since we weren’t home when these things showed up? I have to believe him.
Someone is leaving things on our porch.
Things we don’t need.
We have more than enough things!
So please, whoever did this?
Keep your things to yourself.
The wooden duck takes everything in silently.
All tied up in knots.
If those are a deck of playing cards, looks like he has a plan for the afternoon. The question is will it involve betting? Will it be a winning bet?

It was a plastic chew toy for a dog. No betting required.

It was in the pot in the first picture. Looked like playing cards. Well, that takes some of the guesswork away.

My brothers dug up old glass bottles in the Catskills growing up. I guess they were still growing but they did collect some antiquities as collectors, you know, collect them.

The husband has hundreds of old bottles… some with original dirt.

I think my brothers sold them, as they travel light. Perhaps you can sell them.

I’d love to.
But the husband has formed an attachment.

I used to like some of it, but the husband quickly over loaded my sensory input.

Oooh! An automatic livestock waterer!
Leg trap! Ice tongs?
And a syrup bottle! Kerosene can!
Block and tackle!
Hand carved duck!
But the stone? Mmmmm. Grinding stone?

Our barn, garage, basement and shed are mini tetanus amusement parks.

Um, that screw-top bottle in the last photo? I have just the place for it in our game room, which has a “vintage” theme, which translates to “throw all the old crap in here and call it decorating”…

That’s a fuel bottle for an old gas stove. The reason I know? The husband already has 6 of them.

Maine is a weird place. Usually people go onto one’s property and TAKE things…

You know those artists who make really cool sculptures out of old things/trash? They could have a shopping spree at your house.
