.
Next up on the big barn beautification series?
Floor moulding.
.
.
Which, ironically was cut on the floor… because there was too much crap on the tables.
But parts of it were looking good.
.
.
Other parts were… questionable.
.
.
And when it came time to move the 2 ton safe?
.
.
No one was happy.
.
.
I looked for the owner of that scythe. But he wears black, and could have been hiding anywhere….
.
.
When moulding had to be installed here… under the pile of extremely heavy boards?
.
.
It was like a ballet.
.
.
And because it’s a building designed and constructed by my husband?
.
.
The east wall turned out to be slightly longer than the west. 36 feet…. and one inch. Not what you want to find when you’re running the last piece of trim.
We’ve been wanting a scythe. Too bad you’re so far away. Not that getting rid of it would make much of a dent there.

Damn. It wouldn’t make a dent, but it’s a start….

Now we know why he collects all that free stuff . . . to strategically place in front of his construction “oopses.” 🙂

And there are a lot of oopses….

I tried to move a safe at the Washington Navy Yard to prepare for an inspection. I hurt myself in ways I cannot tell.

It’s not that large, but good God almighty… it’s heavy.

The owner of that scythe can be found hanging out on Biden’s front porch.

You are going to live in this beautiful barn, aren’t you.

That wasn’t the plan, but the husband may be feathering his nest for retirement.

One inch can make a big difference… in many a thing. 😊

Indeed it can.

Perfectionism while building is an option…my hubbies philosophy too. 🙂 The structure is looking good. A lot of work involved. Cudos to you two!

My husband only seeks perfection when selecting wood. The actual installation of the wood is anything but!

Some women just don’t appreciate what they have–your hubby is an ARTIST!! He doesn’t do run of the mill work–his works stand out!!

I could do with a little more art and a lot less standing.

They say imperfections add personal touch. All-in-all, it looks pretty good though!

It does. A lot nicer than it was originally supposed to look…

I really think you should keep the Scythe. Bad things could happen if you get rid of it. Plus, Halloween is coming up….

I’m forbidden to use any of the husband’s treasure for decorating. Though some of them are screaming to be displayed…
