I live withing an hour’s drive of Rabbit Hash, KY, and have published several posts over the years about the small town and its mayor (usually a dog, but other animals have ‘served’ as well, so the town never goes completely to the dogs — hahahaha). Several years ago a fire (around this time of year, if I recall correctly), burned the general store to the ground. The store was the town focal point and was completely rebuilt, thanks to many volunteers and donations from Rabbit Hash lovers.
