Maybe if you put out more apples they won’t eat your flowers. On the other hand that plan may backfire and just bring more critters.

Some asshat is poisoning squirrels in my mom’s neighborhood. I hate this so much… Yes they can be destructive to gardens and homes but really ..
We see them because Tucker barks and whines. The squirrel yesterday kept falling on its back, got up, fell again. It must be suffering…
I know what you mean about the destruction, but to harm them? Makes me raving mad.

I may bitch about the flower destruction but I could never harm them. I do admit to getting rid of the occasional mouse if they take up residence in the house or garage though.
