More random nonsense

.

First I brought you wine for cats. Now?

There’s kitty ice cream.

.

.

I’d ask if this is really necessary and why I couldn’t just let Dudley lick from my bowl…

.

.

But I’m not apt to partake of a frozen dish of sugared mackerel anytime soon.

.

.

Oh, if looks could kill.

Quick, get him some feline wine.

.

.

Finally… a sensible use for the crock pot collecting dust in my closet.

👍

.

.

Is that just me…?

  1. Night time tuna water…eeew. Love your bar and the big black stack of stereo components. I’m assuming there is one or more pairs of big ass speakers around to produce appropriate volume. “Carry on Wayward Son” at 12% is just wrong, that’s why I have a car.
The moose puzzle is interesting, though, as you noted, the beer selection is disappointing. I do like Bulleit Bourbon, though.
You posted a pic of a big lobster dinner and a glass of Shipyard beer. Were you in Portland for that? We paid a visit a couple of years back and loved it. I’m not crazy about seafood but there was a great Thai restaurant and this place that served these gigantic burritos so I was good.
Anyway I hit the follow button and the email notifications as well. There’s a lot of stuff to catch up on here, so watch for comments rising up from the past.
Thanks for the comment, you’re a real find.

    1. Aww, shucks. You’re making me blush. 😊
You’ve also pointed out the one thing I try to ignore in my husbands man cave…aka the Barn Mahal…. that sorry excuse for a stereo. It was perfectly happy collecting dust in the basement (as it deserves) and before I could wrangle my old (extremely expensive for their day) components and monster speakers out of their storage boxes he installed that horror. The radio gets one station, the cassette player doesn’t work, you need a ladder to reach the turntable and he lost the remote. When I’m in residence? I bring my iPod and Bose speaker for decent tunes.
As for the lobster dinner on my profile page, that was Boothbay Harbor not Portland. But it easily could have been.
      Thanks for following!

  2. Sorry about the stereo. I had to get a new receiver and I picked up a high end CD player for eight bucks at the habitat store. It’s 400 watts and the monitors can take it all. Happy times.
I think I will post a bit about my little corner of the world. It took me 44 years to finally put together the room I wanted when I was sixteen, but now it’s worth it.
Proud to be on the team.

  3. The observed the most responsible drinker in the world whilst on a trip to Fiji. We’d booked a day tour to a smaller island on an old yacht, and wine and beer were flowing. On the way back a lady was enjoying a glass of wine at the top of some stairs leading down to the inside of the boat. The water must have been a bit choppy and I watched her fall down the stairs holding tightly to her glass of wine rather than grabbing the rail. Now THATs responsible drinking.
