What is it about yurts?!? I received an email about some get-away packages last night and the yurt package was practically the same price as staying at an actual lodge. With an actual bathroom, walls, windows, and doors. That doesn’t make any sense to me. 🤷♀️

Smart girl. I don’t have a husband so I can camp with impunity without wondering if that means I’ll never have the option to stay at a hotel ever again 🤣.

I’ve camped in yurts before. They’re a lot of funny. Warmer and more comfortable than a tent, and they usually have a skylight you can open and close.

We have something similar to your ice safety chart here in Florida, except it is a “wave” chart, mostly for boats. “light to choppy”, “over 2 foot swells” “4-6 foot white caps” and “A hurricane is coming fool, get your freaking boat out of the water, k?”
