I know people dislike them and yes, they can be destructive… but thankfully they’ve never wreaked havoc here other than a few holes.

Maybe they’re being nice and paying us back for the daily treats.

I will remember this in September when you start crying about the destruction they cause preparing homes for winter. And hopefully we can laugh together about the memories.
We have not seen our red squirrels since the day I accidentally disturbed their next inside our bbq. When the nuts started disappearing from the deck where they had fallen, we thought they were cleaniing their yard. But then Gail saw crows picking up some of those nuts, so now we are not sure. Maybe the squirrels have moved on. We will miss them them if they gave.

The woodchucks are diggers, for sure. But this momma has been living happily under the man cave barn for 4 years now so any destruction has probably already happened.

We have multiple wheels. Used to have a beautiful old wooden one but it finally disintegrated.
