I know I just got through blogging about our trip to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, but guess what? In the time it took me to do that… we took another trip to Vermont. And knowing the kind of detail I like to post about our trips, this series will probably last until Christmas.
So here we go, back to Northwestern Vermont…. where I found this helpful information shortly after crossing the border.
.
.
COW!
.
.
I’ve never swum with a cow, but now I kind of want to.
.
.
Back in Jeffersonville, these wonderful silos greeted us.
.
.
In Stowe? It was a truckload full of cuteness.
.
.
Heading through Smugglers Notch in late October after all the foliage had fallen wasn’t as pretty…
.
.
But following this truck and trailer around the tight bends was interesting.
.
.
Vermont, where red barns….
.
.
Windmills…
.
.
And corn are plentiful.
.
.
But mummified Halloween bears are a little harder to find.
.
.
🤣
.
At least the mummified bear didn’t wrap up the most important part….

That was an interesting trip. Great info on the cows… who knew they liked to lick their friends? Loved the silo and the mummified bear was a great finale. Made me laugh. I think I am going to enjoy this trip.

He was hard to miss, and made me laugh as well. Makes me want to mummify something next year….

Aww that truck o’ pups is too cute for words! And yes, COW! I love those bovines, I see them everyday on my drive to work. Both the angus and milking kind, I try not to think too much about the cows I see grazing on the mountain side…..because I love beef as well….sigh. That’s a conundrum I can’t shake. Anyway, awesome pictures of Vermont, love the Mummy bear too!

I’d love to have a cow.. as a pet of course. And I live the same kind of hypocrisy. If I had to kill my own I’d be a vegan…

This is a lovely area too. The windy roads might be too much for my fragile heart. 😳
I have Cows in my future. Or present? Anyhoo…I’ll blog about them soon, I hope.
Butternut Goldens! I wonder if that is a breeder or a type of breed? Anyhoo, they are soo stinking cute!

The breeders live on Butternut Mountain, so that’s just the name of their business not a separate breed of dog. But you’re right… they were all kinds of adorable.

Since no one else has asked, I have to! Why is the bear all wrapped up like a mummy? Explanations please. I don’t like the abswers I can come up with on my own.

It was the week of Halloween. The mummy was his costume…

At first, from the initial side angle I thought the mummy creature was actually a chick-fil-a cow all wrapped up. But on closer inspection of the next shots, I saw those paws with claws. Yup, that is no cow under that wrapping. Nonetheless, I felt mooved to leave a comment on this. The silos around here don’t have the personality of the one shown. Pretty cool.

It was definitely a bear. I’ve seen him before… undressed.

Red barns, corn, and villages named Cambridge? You might as well be in Wisconsin!

I imagine there are quite a few similarities.
