Almost everyone in Maine has this orange variety, for some reason they’re prolific, hardy and can withstand our crazy weather better than the others.

It’s a shame they don’t last longer…

I’ve never tried to eat a day lily …. think I’ll stick to the neighbors veggies.

I came here for dreary looking rocks and I get vibrant colorful flowers – – bummer.
