.
His Lordship was out walking the other day when he spotted movement.
.

.
Momma Chuck was approaching the buffet from the corner of the woodshed and had a little stare down with Dudley.
.

.
Not sensing a threat she settled down to munch and even turned her back on the feline.
.

.
Lord Dudley Mountcatten was, for all intents and purposes… ignored.
.

.
So much so, Junior showed up for a nosh as well.
.
.
He’s just not up for a chase. Seeing how big they are he knows they are no match for his sleek quick body. He can catch them any time he wants to. Today’s just not that day. There are more interesting things to do. “But you watch me, Mamma. When I decide to go, they’re mine!”

Yeah. Somehow I doubt that…

He gets to keep his pride. Lord Dudley is a very proud cat. (All cats are very proud cats!)

Maybe he knew it’s not them but Momma squirrel he’s really looking for.

She’s lucky. Whenever I was instructed to “just ignore” my older brother (who regularly pounced on, teased, chased, etc. me), it never worked.

I wouldn’t want to mess with Mama Chucker either. She looks like she can cut a bitch, or a cat….

We’ve seen her chase a skunk, a fox and a deer. She’s one mean mother chucker.
