Spring? Not quite….

.

After almost a month of green grass and temps in the 50’s?

.

.

We had a storm yesterday.

.

.

It snowed all day and dumped 5 inches, which was fine…. but when it switched to sleet?

.

.

We woke up to this….

.

.

An ice covered world.

.

.

Tree branches were drooping with it and we were lucky not to lose power as other Mainers did.

.

.

It coated everything and while it’s pretty…

.

.

It’s also harder to deal with than just snow.

.

.

Ice ice baby.

.

.

My fingers are crossed for some sun and melting today.

.

.

🥴

  1. Ice is scary – beautiful but dangerous. My daughter lives in Vermont and yesterday she sent me a video of sledding shenanigans – probably the biggest snowfall this season. March is a psychotic month.

  2. I think that’s going on around the country right now. It was freaking 80 degrees on Friday at noon and last night…BOOM we got a terrible wind storm and below freezing temps. I sure wish Mother Nature would take her hot flash meds because, damn.
