We’ve had all of these under the man cave//Barn Mahal over the years.

I’ve been actively searching for the old photo of me sitting at the kitchen table with 2 feathered roach clips clamped on my shirt and a tomahawk on my lap. As I remember… it was a (lame) last minute attempt at a Halloween costume.
What can I say? It was early 1981.
And no, I didn’t get mine from a random guy at a carnival.
Will post if found.

Fun discovery on the husband’s Audi.
When you open the doors? Their lighted logo shines on the ground. Even his beloved BMW’s didn’t do that.

That motivational message would motivate me to block the spammer. I love (?) the spam messages that tell you to click a link to stop messages. How dumb do they think we are? Don’t answer that. I repaired the door to the space under my front porch after I found (smelled) a dead possum under there. They can find shelter elsewhere.

Sadly, there are way too many people that dumb… or to be nice, unaware. I’m constantly telling my husband to delete, block, and not answer.

Our Genesis does the door light thing. It also has a nice sound to go with it. I love the lobster sweater and mittens!

Ahh yes, those roach clips with feathers, I remember them fondly. I had a few myself and did wear them in my hair for a while. But I got mine from the dude who sold….ahem, who provided some necessary herbal remedies at the time. My BBF’s Lincoln MKZ does that as well, the MKZ is an overpriced version of the Ford Fusion with more bells and whistles. She hates it when I say that, lol.

Herbal remedies. Yes, I had a friend who dispensed those as well…

Wow. I heard those lights logos also improve mileage by 10%.
How?
By making the car … wait for it, sorry / not sorry … lighter!

I’m okay with my brush pile providing shelter for foxes, wrens, and rabbits, but I do not need to protect insects! (Unless they’re lightning bugs. Or butterflies. Or bees. Or ladybugs. Or dragonflies. OK, some insects are fine. But the mosquitoes can kiss my ass.)

And they will.
With dire consequences…

I have become more sensitive to leaving things “as is” come Wintertime so non-humans can continue to do their thing. I like the illustrations and advice here. I love that warm and cozy lobster – the colors on its winter garb are wonderful. The lighted logos firing out of cars is new to me. When I first saw that picture, I thought the Winter Olympics had moved to Maine (which I think would be pretty cool), but alas, not quite enough rings.😁

I know it’s free advertising, but it does light up the icy spots on the driveway at night.
