I saw that the US is opposing a proposed law in AU that would allow users to opt out of algorithms. The reason? “Freedom of speech” and some things being blocked. Versus all the shit that’s blocked when algorithms work? I delete browsing history,,or block it from being saved, specifically so I see things NOT “curated” for me!! I switched to DuckDuckGo last week and mostly really love it due to the automatic cookie blocking (roughly 800 every time I open the browser) and lack of History!!
