I just pulled these pictures off my camera.
I’d like to say they were taken last winter.
But actually… it was a few weeks ago.
Rain, that turned to sleet, that froze to ice.
Every single surface was coated.
And while I’ve never managed to do it’s beauty justice….
It doesn’t stop me from trying.
Nothing so beautiful as ice on nature…………nor as dangerous.
Beautiful photos.

Yes, it comes after snow but before mud.

Frost and ice, sparkling in the sunshine, are always beautiful. And thankfully fleeting!

I love it on the trees…. on the steps and driveway? Not so much.

Well, you’re probably ready for spring, but I love ice and snow pictures, and those are stunning. Love the beiges with the icy whites and blues.

We actually had a very mild, relatively snow free winter. But what passes for spring has been awful this year!

I like nature photos of ice. They seem serene. Yours are pretty, but talk about how quickly things can change. Both in nature and in society.

Those would make great Facebook headers!

You’re right, they would. I’ll save them for next winter.
