.
Checking on the progress in the cluttered chaos my hating retirement husband calls a cellar, I was delighted to see these:
.

.
Looks like someone took my advice about using brackets on his shelves…. and if that’s not a genuine grade ‘A’ miracle? Ethel Kennedy didn’t own a black dress.
.

.
Shelves are making their way along the newly insulated front wall…
.

.
And might have a better chance at withstanding the onslaught of useless junk treasure that’s sure to follow.
.
He hates retirement? Oh I’m sorry to read that. However the brackets are a smart idea. Well done, River

I don’t understand it, most people can’t wait to retire… but my husband hates it. Complete and absolutely.

That’s baffling. My husband ADORES it. Can’t say enough good things about it.

I knew mine wouldn’t love it, but the depth of his unhappiness surprises me.

That’s a first. I’ve yet to hear of anyone who isn’t thrilled to be retired. Maybe he’ll adjust to it… eventually.

This is for the future, but someone is going to have a hekkuva time sorting through this mess once hubby is no longer in control of it. That someone will probably be you, no doubt.

I keep telling him I’m going to have the yard sale to end all yard sales when he’s gone. He is not amused.
🤣

This is the first and only one he’s taken so I’m trying not to gloat.

Yay for the brackets. No do you think he thinks they were his idea?

Well, well. I guess if a man spends that much time in the cellar, something good will eventually come out of it!

The jury is still out on that.
