Instead of taking them down, maybe they’re just going to add Santa to the mix (and later, a leprechaun and the Easter Bunny) to make it an all-inclusive holiday display that they never have to remove.

We have a skeleton named Earl and all he does is sit in a chair, looking like he’s tired down to his bones. These skeletons are overachievers.

Anytime someone puts up one of the giant skeletons its left up year round in different holiday garb must be a major pain in the ass to dissasemble and reassemble

You don’t often see them through the winter here. N’Or Easters make short work of them…

one of my running routes goes past a house with one of these huge skeletons. it never comes down, and the skeleton is always wearing a santa hat. always. but it makes me smile when i run by!

I saw a photo the other day where someone had transformed the giant Halloween skeletons into Christmas decorations. They were carrying bags of toys, helping give Santa a boost onto the roof, that sort of thing. I thought it was very clever and makes me want my own giant skeletons even more.

Skully is not giant. But he stays outside year round and guards my house. He likes to dress up for occasions, when possible.
