Living so close the water is a dream. Well, it would be my dream anyway since I’m a landlocked Texas girl.

It seems I’ve always lived near the water. Jersey shore, Maine, North Carolina coast then back to Maine. Guess I know a good thing when I see it.

Maine really is beautiful. Also that lobster buoy tree reminds me of the statue of Artemis at Ephesus. I tried not to think that but now I can’t unsee it.

You’ve got lobster buoys, we’ve got cows, South Dakota has bison. I love how each place embraces its regionality.
