As you can tell, I keep my distance. Any suggestions from me are met with a bruised male ego and annoyance that I’m questioning his carpentry skills.

See that last remaining spot to be sided? It’s a funky little section that required careful measuring and cutting.

It’s just easier to gerry rig the section with 3 different size pieces.

Earlier, I saw a large firewood storage setup with a wagonwheel in the middle as a decorative element. It looked perfect for the barnmahal – but I didn’t want give your hubby any ideas.
Every time I see the extension pics, I’m bothered that it doesn’t match the barn theme and is just a big rectangle.

I am envious of the space to create the extension in the first place. My wife might be glad we don’t have that much space.

Ha! My dad things like this all the time and it drove my mom crazy. Like when he built an entirely separate garage with metal siding he got for “free” when they tore down an old cotton gin. That garage has gaps, doors that aren’t even, hanging low and windows that aren’t even on any side, lol. But that was 25 years ago and it’s in better shape than my mom is…..LMAO.
