There are a few large treasures in the man cave/Barn Mahal that would be Antique Roadshow worthy…. but I refuse to be one of those poor schmucks shuffling along in line all day hauling these heavy and quite cumbersome objects.
.

.
The apple press?
Definitely old.
.

.
The butter turning table?
Definitely interesting.
.

.
The manual wooden washing machine?
Definitely not. It weighs a ton!
🤣
.
Gotta admit that these three possibilities are interesting but maybe not as unique as say, something, smaller! 😉

And lighter, yes.

Too bad you can’t just bring photos. What if those heavy items are the most valuable things you have?! Oh, the sad irony!

An old blog friend of mine from the Multiply days brought a seriously huge and monstrously heavy sideboard to the British version. Her husband cursed her for days about transporting it … until they found out it was worth over $20,000. All was forgiven after they sold it.

Jackpot! And thank goodness it wasn’t damaged en route. I suppose that’s something to consider for big items as well.

That thing was the size of a small wall. I don’t know how they managed it.

What you need to do is hang up a MUSEUM sign and start charging people admission to see these things!

They were drivable, too… but maybe just by the owners.

Puzzled about why there seems to be so much more of this junk, sorry, relics, in the US than in the UK? Any thoughts?

We’re crazy for old things here. Probably due to being a relatively new country.
