Because you seem to enjoy them as well.

Maine is seriously bereft of alpacas.
.

.
Guess we know where the maple trees live.
.

.
I don’t think Maine is quite as coffee crazy as the rest of the country. Dunkin still rules up here.
.

.
What up Wyoming?
Apparently, nothing.
.

.
I’ll wear that proudly.
.

.
Most of our moose are up north, but I’ve seen a few. Sadly, two of them had been hit by cars.

.
Maine is so white bread, we don’t even have a weird name.
.

.
Maine seems to be half dog, half cat.
You know which half we are.

Weird map Wednesday! I like it!

I have been known to add a bit of bourbon-barrel-aged maple syrup to my coffee. And the prison/college map shows dem pointy-headed intellectuals in da norteast and dem tree-hugging weirdos out west seem ta tink it’s better ta educate people dan trow dem in prison. What are they thinking?

The key word is thinking.

Very disappointed in the maple production of NH. Thought it would do better.

It does seem like they’re just phoning it in.

I can’t say the prison/college map came as a surprise.

I hope those big mooses/meeses don’t decide WV would be a nice place to hang out!!😱😱

They’re gentle giants and kind of goofy.

There’s rumors that elk are secretly being stocked in WV. No one that I know has seen one yet.

Interesting. Were they ever native there? I hate upsetting the natural balance…

I really don’t know. I’ll have to read up on that! I’m in agreement on the upsetting things. If they were meant to be here then they would be here!!! More government interference!

I just did some research. Elk were native to West Virginia but were eradicated by settlers by the late 1800’s due to over hunting and habitat loss.
Typical. We killed them all and took their land. So this will be a reintroduction.

Thank you for researching it. I wondered if that might be the case. Habitat is a big issue even for the white-tailed deer.

I had no idea Wisconsin produced so much maple syrup until we moved here. Hell, I want to tap one of our trees.
I was going to say I don’t buy the Wyoming escalator map, because Cheyenne is decent-sized and has a mall. But I looked it up: it’s a single-story mall. Hmm…

Never doubt the maps.

I am glad I don’t know anyone named Eluney. But then again, maybe it has some cool definition.

Doubtful.

Eluney is from Mexican heritage and actually means ‘Gift From The Sky’.
