Because you can never have too many maps.

.

I call foul on this first one.

.

.

Maine has exactly one Trader Joes.

One.

Yes, it’s in our biggest city, but still.

.

.

No in Maine. Which is fine with me.

.

.

Maine to Man is not very amusing.

.

.

It’s true.

Mainers do hate Massholes.

.

.

Since we only buy craft beer, and never by the case I’m unable to comment.

.

.

Please note I live in the county above the red in Maine and am not personally responsible for its high numbers.

Mark… can you say the same?

😉

  1. Yay! Nobody hates Minnesota! (And I’d say we save a good half of our jabs for Iowa, while the rest go to Wisconsin.) Shouldn’t all states be colored with the “Hates Texas” color? Just look at that red in Wisconsin and Montana – the two other states I’ve lived in. I’m driving through Wisconsin next month to visit my family. I’d better keep very alert on the highway.

  2. Meijer is a wonderful grocery store but down where I live in OH it is Kroger all. the. time. everywhere. I do agree that we Ohioans are taught from the cradle to hate Michigan. We even have a song about it. 🎶

  3. I think the grocery store map is bogus. Trader Joe’s is popular for snacks. but so few people can fit in its parking lot there’s no way it can compare to the Kroger-owned Ralph’s. Or Von’s. Also, we don’t hate Texas, we hate that it’s gerrymandered and voter suppressed. We sent search and rescue teams anyway, though!

  4. There are no Jewel-Osco’s anywhere near my part of Illinois…. nor are there any HyVee’s in the St. Louis area of Missouri. And if that wasn’t BS enough, there is no way we are the cheapest beer state. Not that I know from experience since I don’t drink, but Illinois taxes everything to the hilt and there’s no way our beer taxes are lower than everywhere else…

  5. No, I cannot.

I also think the grocery store map is bogus. No way is Piggly Wiggly that popular here. And there are very few Albertson’s left in that whole area that supposedly loves Albertson’s. I think the fix is on with Big Grocery.
