My pickle algorithm seems to be ramping up again and along with disgusting recipes for pickle soup and pickle cupcakes I saw this…
.

.
I was unaware Pittsburgh was pickle crazy before reading this article.
.

.
But I must say, they seem to have embraced the briny green spear with a disturbing enthusiasm.

Why do I get these ads?
😳

.
After my recent medical fiasco?
That made me snort.

I’m middle ground least common.
How about you?
.
Well, I’ve never been to Pennsylvania, so I probably shouldn’t even be commenting, but my first thought was that Pittsburgh felt the need to somehow try to compete with Philly and its famous Cheesesteak?? That pickle-bull is, uh, very phallic. And my birthday is right near the wishy-washy middle. Of course it is.

Perhaps, but you can’t ride a cheesesteak.
Or can you…?

Are Jan 1 and Dec 25 darker blue than all other days? I would think Feb 29 would be least common. And does this change in cultures that don’t celebrate Christmas or celebrate the lunar new year?
And who gets to decide what “full-size” means for a gherkin?

That bday chart is wild. I like the outliers (Feb 14, July 4 & 5).
LOVE that comic!
I saved a pic of “Dill Dough’s pizza dough”. I think I saw it on buzzfeed along with a claim that pickle pizza dough is good. I’m doubtful, but it’s one of the odd pickle products that I’d consider trying.

Birthday chart makes a lot of sense…winter chill, autumn babies.

I’m not sure what to think of that birthday chart…. what were their demographics. Back when me and my sisters were hatched, you were born when you were born… and that wasn’t THAT long ago. I understand now that most births are scheduled like doctor appointments, which is why the holidays are all blue, and bright red swaths before and after Christmas… but that’s a recent trend, no? it shouldn’t have had that much influence already…
Oh, and I love how I have the only white day in July while every other day besides the 4th and 5th is red…

Pink, but not too pink. Must be why I am in touch with my feminine eide.

I like pickles (in moderation), but seeing people riding them (or any other foodstuff) doesn’t exactly make me eager to eat more.
Very unhygienic.

Agreed.
I like a good kosher dill, but not that way.

Funny. My Birthday is in the Least Common category but I personally know someone I share it with.
The Pickle Bull Ride looks fun.
No comment on the other item.
