Cats are such regal creatures.

I did not know.
And honestly, I wish I still didn’t.

Proof that sometimes it is worth getting up early.

I bought Lord Dudley Mountcatten a fleece pad because he’s always looking for warmth.
He found part of it…

While antique shopping with the husband recently, I realized our woodchucks are just phoning it in. None of ours bring me flowers.

Yes.
This (slightly used) stripper pole was for sale.
No.
We didn’t purchase it.

You lead such an interesting life!!!!😅😅😅

Good call on skipping the old pole. New ones are rumored to be much better.

Now ones, old ones. Either way, my pole days are long gone.

That woodchuck statue needs to go out in the food pile. I’d be really curious how they react to it.

Too small to be noticed. If it had been life sized… things could get interesting.

Commission one!
Use the money you make selling the restored table to pay for it.

You mean the one that’s still in our barn? The one we haven’t had any calls about…

In my lifetime, I have had 24,309 available sunrises. If I have only experienced a conservative 50%, that is 12,155 that I have witnessed. I am retired, and will be damned if I get up early just so I can experience 12,156.

Ha! I hear you…
But my marine husband has been up at 4:00am for the entire 41 years of our marriage, even now when he’s retired. And he’s not exactly quiet, so when he’s up? I’m usually up.
Might as well enjoy the benefit.

So time to have fun. After he goes to bed, move the bedroom clock up an hour. He will still wake up at 0400 hrs, but he’ll look at the clock and see 0500 hrs. Yipee! Time for a Marine freak-out!

A partly used stripper pole, you say? Whoever the lucky buyer is needs to stop on the way home and pick up some Clorox wipes. Ick!

To heck with wipes. They need a gallon bottle.

Hehehe! Woodchucks phoning it in – very good 🤣. And His Lordship is gorgeous, of course!

I consider myself an early riser at 5 a.m., but I’m downright slacking compared to you and the Hubby.

He wakes me up at 4:00, but I usually roll out of bed around 5:00. Still earlier than I’d prefer…

What’s he doing at that early hour? Calisthenics? Organizing his junk collection? Trying to figure out how to operate the fancy toaster?

Nothing so productive. He’s just so used to getting up early he can’t sleep. Mostly he watches tv.

Is he in bed by 8:00 then?

No. He stays up much later than I do at this point!

His Lordship with the fleece pad…”just a bit outside.” That being said, he had no issue hitting the bulls-eye when it comes to lining up a pose and being all-sorts of regal. As for that fish…swimmingly-bad aim if its goal was a body of water.

Your cat should be a model; he’s just so gorgeous.
I agree, there are a lot of things we don’t need to know….like how do you dismantle and repackage a stripper pole.
