This fellows escapades made good copy and soon after the story was everywhere….

And while the story itself was funny, the aftermath made me laugh as well.

I’ve heard of bears breaking into people’s cabins and raiding the liquor cabinet but not raccoons!

That story didn’t make it out into my neck of the woods. Poor raccoon. I feel his pain! We did have a video of a coyote stealing people’s newspapers, though.

I feel for the little guy. Sometimes we learn lessons the hard way, and I am sure facing the next morning was very hard indeed. I am sure after sober reflection, he’ll make better choices going forward. Or not.
