I got a 4: Asparagus, tofu, blue cheese and oysters. There were others.

I adore blue cheese!
Though my husband hates it…

He never gets close enough to it to find out.

My husband also says I am a picky eater and I think I am, but my number is 2! This list is, I think pretty Midwestern White. Where are the fish eyeballs? The sweetbreads? The Rocky Mountain Oysters?

2?
Maybe I am a picky eater after all…

1 Point – I don’t do canned tuna, ever. Everything else I’ve eaten. And even though this wasn’t on list, cilantro the devils herb is another thing I won’t eat.

I’ve eaten a few that I counted, as in… tried it, won’t eat it again.
But yes, if cilantro and kale were listed I’d have to add another two.

This was a fun list to travel. I wound up being a 7. I thought I’d be higher since I consider myself kinda picky, but most all of these foods have at least some appeal.

4 – I won’t eat blue cheese, oysters, raw fish, white chocolate. One I can’t consume – milk. I’m am severely lactose intolerant. I’ve never had Nutella. And I am not overly fond of mayo, sourdough, wheat bread and tofu and actively avoid them.

If you actively avoid them, you have to add them.
So.. 8.

Perhaps ‘actively avoid” is too strong a description because I do eat them – just don’t prefer them if I have a choice. Fried tofu with miso sauce is actually quite tasty and I would eat it if someone made it for me. I bought a loaf of sourdough the other week because I needed a break from low-carb bread and I have a small jar of mayo in the fridge for the odd time when I crave a tuna salad sandwich. The four I listed are a hard no – actually tho I have to say that as I have gotten old there are a lot of foods I have enjoyed in the past that now I don’t particularly care for – like meat (aside from bacon). I basically live on bean burritos, grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches and crispy green beans.

Phew! Thank goodness.
I’d hate to tell my husband he was right.
That would set a dangerous precedent.

17! I have always been picky. But in my defense, I like Tofu and Raw Fish.
