Let’s see how many of these we can argue with today.

.

Seafood rules in Maine?

No argument there.

.

.

This has always bothered me. If you’ve ever watched a loved one suffer a slow and painful death, you’d know how important dying with dignity is.

.

.

Maine has high numbers, but I have not personally contributed.

.

They have pasta, wine, Tiramisu and cannolis. What is there to be sad about?

.

.

I’ve lived in Maine on and off for 32 years and have seen 4 moose. Though to be fair, the mid coast region is too far south for them.

That’s a lot of couch potatoes!

.

Our largest is Portland with about 70,000.

Which is fine with me.

  1. Sounds about right for the most popular food in WV. ((Pepperoni rolls would run a close second)
Surprised at Maine and WV having small cities in common. Wonder why?

  2. I wonder what the source is for the claim of Italy as the happiest country. When I got home this evening, I checked the World Happiness Report and they still note Finland as #1. Italy isn’t in the top 30. I went to another site and found Italy at #40 – even below the US, which is mighty concerning. Though that is not to say you can’t be happy anywhere – or unhappy anywhere, for that matter.

  3. Asian food in Washington state? Maybe around Seattle and the Puget Sound area, but drive inland and it’s American style chain steakhouses, burgers, and diners. It’s more like Idaho in that respect; eastern Washington is agricultural and also very conservative in tastes and politics.

  4. I don’t know that I’d consider “Pub” a cuisine so much as a place…but either way, that tracks.

Surprised to learn there are any moose at all in Wisconsin. I swear, “up north” has all the fun!
