Misguided maps.

.

Let’s start with one word stereotypes shall we?

.

.

A lot of those are spot on. You can’t argue that Texas is big, Florida is hot or California is expensive.

.

.

🤣 at Wisconsin.

.

.

It astounds me that some states still have a minimum wage of just over $7. Who can live on that?

.

.

And you add a few accessories, sure.

.

.

I’m doing my part, I swear.

.

.

I believe Maine is ranked #2 in the country for the most craft breweries.

This makes me very hoppy.

  1. Beer…never tasted the stuff…don’t ever plan to!
It’s surprising which states are considered poor!
I guess it’s kinda like “Beauty (Poverty) is in the eye of the beholder”

      1. Seriously, I am one of the two people in the country who has never tasted alcohol…not even a sip….not even once…I always said if I drank I’d be dangerous! lol

  2. Well, I’m doing my part on the booze charts.
Some jobs in Calif (such as fast food chains) have a $20 min wage. $30 min wage for service jobs related to the Olympics were approved for $30 min in 2028, but it’s since been revised lower.

      1. I agree! Thank gawd I bought back in 2002!
I think the couple across the street is paying $3200/mo for a 2bdrm. They both work, but I still have no idea how they can afford that much.

  3. My husband said he didn’t want to work until the day he died so we sold our home in California after 28 years and moved out of state. Our electric bill was $1,200 a month in the summer and gas is the highest in the nation because there’s more than a dollar tax per gallon. It’s a beautiful state and perfect for vacation!

  4. It’s hard to reconcile Wisconsin as “liberal” with its $7.25/hr minimum wage and having elected Scott Walker, Ron Johnson, and Joe McCarthy (to name a few). Do we get extra points on the liquor map for consuming over half of all of the Korbel brandy distilled annually? As for the “sin cow sin” part, no one talks about sinning with cows.

  5. Sin Cow Sin is brilliant! I might seriously make that my new Instagram name if it isn’t taken already. (It’s probably taken already.)

I agree with Half Fast, though. “Liberal” is not a word I would use for our state, though we’re trending more and more in that direction. “Purple” would be more accurate, though really, why is it not “Drunk”??
