LOL I built a new house on what was once my parents’ vegetable garden. The little house I was born in stood just a few feet from where my new house is. Sadly Mom never had any pictures of that little house.

So I live in a red state, a light green state, an orange state, a blue state, and a blue state, but not a purple state. I bought my house from a woman who was born in it. We’re its second owners in 110 years. But I’m almost four miles from the house where I was born – though less than two miles by water.

I was not surprised to see Pennsylvania up there when it comes to people sticking around, but I was a bit surprised about the average temps. Then again, when you take into account an entire year I guess those colder months are really gonna balance things out. And, we’re right around the national average. Yay, we’re average!

Am I being stupid? I think the 100,000 map footnotes say both, “several states have none” and “every state has a city that crosses the 100,000 mark”.
