I’m not a big football fan, and since those dastardly 49ers ousted my beloved cheese in the playoffs… I really don’t care much about the Super Bowl this year. (Except for the commercials of course) But I dutifully watched the Bengals put my second choice Chief’s quarterback Patrick Mahones to sleep in the back half of last weekend’s game all the same. And as I gazed on that giant sea of red in Arrowhead stadium… it made me wonder what all those seats were raking in.
Behold – Ticketmaster’s prices for the game.

Holy crap on a cracker!
It’s been a long time since I attended a professional football game, and from the look of those prices it seems that I won’t ever be going again.

Felines are strange creatures.
Like this one who had a catnip pouch on his belly… but was too stoned to care.

We’ve been having snow storms with really large flakes lately. The photo doesn’t do it justice.

Now that’s a winter wonderland.

1972 was my last pro-game. Denver Donkeys vs San Diego. The mayor gave me two seats in his box. Donkeys lost …

I just read an article concerning prices for skybox seats at the Super Bowl… are you sitting down? A box holds 24 people and single tickets start at $200,000. Want a luxury suite? $1.2 million. I’m guessing your seats went for less.

Talk about price gouging! But you’ll find plenty of people who will sell their grandmothers to attend any NFL game. As for the Super Bowl, it’s going to a game of underdogs and I’m going for the Bengals…..…enough of the Bucs, Chiefs, Packers and Patriots already. Sorry River, I know your a Green Bay fan.

I really don’t like football that much, I’m a baseball and boxing girl. But I hated Brady and needed to fight the flow of Patriot fans in Maine. I chose Green Bay because their fans wear cheese on their heads. I do love cheese…

Wait? People PAY to go to Football Games?
WHY???
I’m far happier watching from the sofa in my living room. Warmer. Cheaper. Less crowded. Better viewing. Better snacks & drinks. Etc.

Totally agree. For those prices I could pay a local team to play in my backyard.

Sad that I thought how much the giant flakes look like ash!
There was an open call for halftime performers. It was hard for me to accept that I’m to feeble to participate.
The new SoFi stadium is said to be amazing. A LOT of people are really into the team/game. Tickets sales were even blocked in 49’s territory so locals could get them. Seems like that should be illegal but I guess not.
The resale prices are INSANE! But ya gotta figure celebs and gazillionares will be there in abundance.

It didn’t in real time, but I can see how you’d think so from the video. They were huge! As for the game, I knew prices were high but that’s nuts.

Ticket prices are ridiculous and they’ll keep charging that as long as the ‘fans’ keep paying it.

Yeah, and those are the cheap seats.
I hate the Chiefs, so I was really happy to see the Bengals stick it to ’em. As a former Ohioan, I’ll be cheering on Cincinnati.

I’ll be cheering on the new Budweiser Clydesdale commercial.

As a long-suffering Lions fan, I have not watched a Superbowl game in over two decades. But I might this year, to see if Stafford can prove he is a winner, if given a good team to play around him. Detroit hires good individuals, but never a complete team!

Much respect for your fortitude. I think Stafford is a good player and I hope he does well. I watch every year because it’s usually an entertaining game and, since the Panthers have only been there twice, I can pull for anyone I want or just comment on the plays. Have a good time.

I honestly don’t care who wins. Which makes for stress free viewing.

Me neither. I do like to watch a good game, no matter who’s playing. That said, I’d like to see the Bengals take it. I don’t think they’ve even come close since the Boomer Esiason days (Fear the Turtle).
