Don’t got no pictures, so gotta use words. (All in order of age, oldest to youngest.)
1. White Portugese devil woman.
2. Bear who sniffs for fires.
3. American folk hero/Shawnee Chief and Warrior
4. & 5. Sister and brother, children in some old British penny novel I cannot remember the name of, and that probably most of you have never read or even heard of.
6. Yesyes, (senora)
After I had time to think more about it, number 4 should have been 1/1000 of an odor, and number 5 could have been a person who cuts stock in half. (That might even have helped people inderstand the “l” in Halverstock is silent!)
Actually, our Tecumseh was named after an Iroquous warrior who travelled from the US to Canada to warn Canadians the Americans were planning a sneak attack during the War of 1812. But I figure that is not part of American history. The Americans list that battle. So I used a Tecumseh in the game that Americans might know about. Tecumseh was actually a pretty common name in Indigenous families. It meant “Brave Warrior” or something similar.Your “Tecumseh” was white, with an indigenous name. Little wonder if he was not liked.
I knew that, and the war of 1812 is part of American history, even the parts we lost. I thought that the man who coined the term “The only good Indian is a dead Indian” being named for one was a bit ironic.
Never knew who said that, but there sre a lot of people who believe it. I just cannot underetand what they have against the people of such a populous nation.
I learned that from a book titled “Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee” by Dee Brown. It was the source material for my grade 11 American History class. And a lot of people believe Americans represent everything bad in the world. I don’t understand that. And, by the way, Sherman wasn’t “mine”, but he was a damned fine soldier.
Here you go: First of Suetonius’ biographical subjects…George Jefferson’s wife…King of Belgium, or Bugs bunny dressed as a conductor…the right side heraldically, or everyone’s favorite serial killer…”To Sir with Love” singer…Elsie the cow’s boyfriend…Red haired high school kid, has his own comic book…Mr. Berle…Ms. White… the second mister freeze. Enjoy.
I have ten, from the beginning until now: Julius, Weezy, Leopold, Dexter, Lulu, Elmer, Archie, Milton, Betty and Otto. And, lest I forget, Sir Poopsalot, the Siberian dwarf hamster. You’re never really dead if someone remembers you.
The primary antagonist in Shakespeare’s “Othello”.

Tecumseh…middle name of General William T. Sherman. Not well liked by a lot of people. Ironic.

“From the beginning” means since Cathy and I have been together. All the dogs who lived with me beforehand were someone else’s.
