  1. I sleep on socks soooo often in fall/winter!! I usually (but not always) put on clean socks.

I used to refuse to F guys who kept their socks on, feeling it was a way to not commit to the experience.

  2. Eeesh. Who goes to bed wearing the same socks they wore all day?

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is found everywhere in the environment – a very common bug (and contaminant). It’s an opportunistic pathogen, and when grown on a petri dish in the lab it smells like Graperoo bubble gum (at least that’s what it smelled like to me).

  3. Up here in the frozen north I have bedsocks I put on at night to help keep my feet warm, but also to keep my feet protected from the cold cold floor during nightly excursions. Our bedroom is in the basement, so the floor is but inches away from the frozen ground. Walk in bare feet and your toes are frozen before you get back to bed.
And please don’t suggest slippers, I have yet to find a pair I feel comfortable in, and I have tried all minds of syyles…

  4. I ONLY wear socks to bed when I have a cold. I put Mentholatum on my feet and I don’t want it to rub off my sheets. If you have never done this? tsk tsk. It’s amazing.
