Vichyssoise?
My mother made it quite often.

That’s a nice looking place. I got a little nervous, thinking there might be a dress code or something. Then I saw the guy in the fourth picture down, baseball cap atop his head like a glittering diadem, and I felt better. The food looks good, too.

Maine is a funny place. Even the really nice restaurants have no dress code because you never know who’s stepping off a yacht.

HHmmm, sounds delish and it’s barely 7:52am over here and I already want a cocktail. Okay I feel like a cocktail every day, but I don’t have one, lol. Nice to know this place didn’t disappoint!

That sangria sounds delectable. Oh, and I think I forgot to tell you the results of our sangria-off. The husband and I each thought our own “won,” but the husband conceded my/our white wine recipe was delicious. We’re both planning on remaking our/your creations and giving (little) jars (I’m not that generous) as Christmas gifts. Thanks again for the recipe and inspiration!
