The blog in which His Lordship is inconvenienced but learns to make the best of it.

.

Lord Dudley Mountcatten likes the noise plastic makes when he jumps on it..

.

.

And God knows we’ve got plenty of plastic right now.

.

.

What he doesn’t like is plastic rooms he has no access to….

.

.

And in true cat fashion he’s always on the wrong side of the wall.

.

.

The newly added zippered door helps, though he still has a propensity to sit and stare.

His Lordship doesn’t understand why his house is torn apart, noisy and covered in plastic…

.

.

But he’s trying to make the best of it.

.

.

  1. When we had two cats (sisters), one would explore every construction zone like it was a playground. The other sat back with a “what’s wrong with that girl?” look on her face. I see Dudley in in the first CATegory.

  2. When we first put ours out in the garage, the second would constantly go where she shouldn’t and get stuck (I guess that’s where cat-in-the-tree stories come from).

I have determined that, yes, curiosity kills the cat. I mean, look at all that plastic!

  3. The benefit of this is that it’s a new landscape within the known. Maybe like dropping a trip or being in a dream. Possibly disconcerting, but also something novel to explore. It would be great to know what his Lordship thinks… would he rant about changes to his routine and want to castigate his servants, or tell you he needs to get off the catnip…
