There’s a hidden road in East Boothbay, Maine that we have to cruise whenever we’re in the area.
.

.
It winds along the rocky coast …
.

.
And offers some stunning views.
.

.
The waterfront homes are really on the waterfront. Sometimes by mere inches.
.

.
The shore is rugged.
.

.
The Atlantic Ocean vast.
.
.
We love it.
.

.
How could you not…?

I think I could get use to living on the shore, at least that’s what I say now. I might change my mind if a hurricane hits.

We rarely have hurricanes. Just N’Or Easters… but they can get wild if you’re on the coast.

Amazing how photogenic a lifeless, craggy wasteland can be if the Atlantic is photo-bombing it…

It’s not lifeless! Our delightful coast is teeming with flora and fauna.
All it’s missing is wombats…

That is a gorgeous area for sure. I could meander around that area for days and not get bored. WOW, that really is an ocean FRONT house.

Sadly everyone else loves it too. Property prices are insane.
