Random cat photos and digital rugs.

Lord Dudley Mountcatten and his vampire teeth like to sleep next to me when I read.

.

.

This makes for some slightly disturbing photos.

.

Good thing he’s a pacifist.

.

We’ve been having a lot of small snow storms lately and are getting to that point in winter where clearing chores are losing their allure.

So let me just drop this here…

You can’t beat the price.

.

I can totally see our cat doing this and holding us hostage for tuna.

Said feline’s new favorite spot.

.

.

And speaking of spots, I’ve been meaning to put a rug under that table ever since we bought it but can’t find the right one.

.

.

Which means I waste entirely too time superimposing digital varieties.

Have any of you tried those washable versions?

.

.

They’re pretty, but seem so thin and cheap I’m thinking they can’t be any good.

.

.

What say you to cheap washable rugs?

  1. I’m good with cheap washable rugs. You can find them in practically any size, color or pattern and they are, as mentioned, cheap and washable.. I think #4 is your best pick so far. The Afghan pattern has good movement in an ordered pattern. A darker border, which I’m sure is readily available will draw the rug up from the floor and define the space, So say I.

  2. I like the last one. Honestly, as long as it is not expensive, I would give it a try. If it doesn’t work for you, well, you don’t have to worry too much. Plus it is washable, so less cat hair to breath in.

  3. I have a not-so-cheap washable rug in my kitchen. I used to have a similar one in my living room but replaced it with a wool one which is infinitely more pleasing. In the kitchen it makes sense; in the living room not so much. In the dining room 🤷🏼‍♀️. How spilly do things get in there?

  4. The cutest vampire ever!

I recently read that you can make money by shoveling snow in NYC! I mean, it’s not what you are offering, but it’s kinda funny.

I have a few washable rugs scattered in our kitchen and laundry. They’re great for those areas, but I don’t know about under the dining room table. Also, they’re not cheap!

I’ve used Wayfair for many rugs, as I like real wool rugs with some heft. The best option to do so, since it’s a hassle shipping back a giant rug is to order a small version, like for an entry, check the quality and the coloration for your area. If you don’t like it, it’s easy to ship it back for a refund. (BTW: I learned this the hard way, first!)
