.
Work has resumed on the shed extension.
.

.
And it’s extended to contain two windows.
.

.
The wood siding was purchased from the same local man who provided the existing shed’s siding…
.

.
Problem is….the old siding was 8” wide and the new is 12”.
.

.
This bothers my husband not one iota…
.

.
But is apt to drive me crazy every time I look at it.
.

.
As does my spouse’s less than even board cutting.
.

.
‘Good enough’ has always been good enough for my man when it comes to building.
.

.
🥴
.
Cool! Look at all that space to store things. And knowing your husband’s propensity to accumulate things, this is good?

It’s being built specifically to store the new (old) antique horse drawn carriage he bought.

Got it. That makes sense… in as much as owning an antique horse drawn carriage makes sense.

Will mini-barn eventually expand to the size of the barn museum?

Normally I’m very “good enough” too, but those uneven boards make me slightly crazy.

If he won’t cut them, I’m going to have to stick some trim boards over them.

My dad had a tongue-in-cheek saying “good enough for who it’s for.” Maybe that is your husband’s philosophy?

I grew up with, “Good enough for government work”, even though no one in ky family worked for the govt. I always figured it was a saying from the great depression.
A quick google revealed that it’s from WWII and originally meant the opposite of what it does now.

But good enough is not enough when it comes to wife-choosing. With that, he must have utter perfection. 😉

It goes without saying he chose well.
