Storms have been passing in and out of our area.

This one moved right over the neighbor’s farm and the now completed, view busting greenhouse.

Someone got some impressive weather….

.
But this time it wasn’t us.

.
What I got was a spiced cranberry lemon drop martini and crab cakes.

.
And spicy Tuscan shrimp with sun dried tomatoes and spinach.

There’s a lot to say wow about there. The colour of that sky, the size of that greenhouse (what will be grown in there?), that Martini, the crab cakes, and shrimp. Wow. And yum.

I’ll bet I can make that shrimp dish. I’ll want to research Tuscan cuisine, for sure. but I’m confident. Thanks for posting up the pics. Cathy and I like to sit on the porch and watch the bad weather. That’s some good bad weather right there.

Just yesterday I read in one of the Spenser novels someone has a lemon drop martini… Never had one. And now yours looks appetizing! So, next time, will have to venture out and try one.

I understand! We had a tall hedge that blocked our view of the house next door when we lived in Palm Springs. The new neighbor asked if they could trim it down and cut down a tree that was blocking their mountain view. My husband said yes because we were moving. I couldn’t stand staring at the neighbors house after they did that. Good thing we moved!
