Let’s play.

You’re already here, so why not?

I know it’s going to sound weird not to say chocolate or cheese or something wonderful, but honestly?

My answer is broccoli.

Every night when I’m cooking dinner I pick a vegetable for the husband and then choose fresh broccoli for myself. I could literally eat it with every meal. Steamed broccoli, roasted broccoli, broccoli casserole, broccoli salad… I love it all.

Weird, I know.

How about you?

What could you eat every single day…

  1. Broccoli was a long standing joke with my husband and I – kind of a long story so I won’t go into it here – but he didn’t like it. I think I could eat a slice of pizza every day. My pizza of choice is a Margharita but a slice of veggie pizza would do as well.

  2. Real roasted turkey (not the generic deli slices). Or maybe mashed potatoes. Or BaakinRobbins Jamocoa Almond Fudge ice cream… which makes it extra imoressive that I rarely have it, even though the store is only 10 doors away from mine.

      1. Yep! If I step into the street, I can see the sign. Thank gawd their prices are high and I rarely crave sweets (and they close at 9, while my cravings hit at 11pm & later).

  3. Fresh tomatoes! Which never includes ketchup or catsup or however you want to spell that chemical sauce! Every night my midnight snack is a toasted rye tomato sandwich, always with mayonaise, sometimes with cheese or bacon or other flavourful addition, depending on what leftovers are in the fridge. Sliced they make great side dished for most meals. Breakfast today happens to be BLTs on toasted rye. Yum yum yum!
