More blooms.

.

I’m a little behind posting these pics because things were blooming while I was sick.

.

.

The peonies were lovely…

.

.

But I didn’t manage a photo before the daylilies took over.

.

.

Just a few fading blossoms.

.

.

Still pretty…

.

.

But less dramatic than they should be.

  1. Are you all better, or still having lingering issues?
I never got around to planting anything so my flowers are limited to a few very pretty purple flowers on a rapidly expanding succulent, and some new fkowers on my russian sage…. which is a long way of saying that even your “faded” flowers are far nicer than mine!

      1. As I did (and do every summer, frankly). It’s a huge task wrangling them back into shape. I swear in retirement we won’t travel in summer, both so I can fully enjoy the blooms and also so I don’t lose control of the weeds.

  2. Sometimes you are good if you don’t overthink it. Sometimes you are healthy and sometimes not. Now that I am at home more, I enjoy being healthy. Not feeling your best and working or feeling your health acutely while working is a hard situation until you make a change, whether it is to retire, work part time or slow down.

  3. Peonies are my very favorite flower and If I could grow them, well, I’d probably do nothing else than stare and admire them. SO glad you are feeling better!
