Remember when my husband tore down most of our old shed and rebuilt it without the addition?
Remember when my husband bought an antique wagon and had to rebuild the addition to house the purchase?
Remember when I complained about having a gaping open hole on the north side of the new addition because my husband couldn’t figure out how to build a door on the wonky shaped opening?
Remember when my husband covered the hole with a tarp thinking that would suffice?
Silly man.

Door construction has begun.
.

.
I had multiple ideas for this.
.

.
None of which were taken under consideration.

.
Have you hugged your door today?
.

.
Remember how nothing was even close to level or plumb when the shed was built?
.

.
It’s going to be interesting…
🥴

I can relate to that. When the Husband has a project that he considers “his,” my ideas are not welcome in the least. I’m effectively told to stay in my lane. (*sigh*) Marriage.

It’s maddening. When I’m doing something, I’m always open to new ideas…

Shocking developments, here. Good of your husband to keep us all on the edge of our seats!

As long as he didn’t build that seat? You’re probably safe..

Well, look at it this way – you don’t have to live in the shed!

Good thing, the addition only has a dirt floor…

Yes, I remembered all of those things.
No, I’ve not hugged a door today.
Oh my. He’s determined, so I know it will work out just fine! (I mean, maybe not fine by your standards, but you know…)

If it opens and closes, I’ll consider it a win.

It is not that he over thinks but sometimes he overdoes? Not a bad thing as look as you are accustomed to the extra work expenses and being in the midst of projects all the time.

His carpentry skills are basic, good for repairs but not design and building. Though he would say otherwise.

Well, he is a Marine, and engineering skills were not really a requirement.
