.
The Northern Lights were visible in my part of the world recently.
.

.
And even though we had a little too much cloud cover to make them spectacular….
.

.
This was only the second time in my life I’ve experienced them so I stood out in the cold in my pajamas taking pictures like a fool anyway.
.

.
Pure magic.
.

.
No matter how faint the glow.

Awesome! So happy you got to see them. I have yet to experience my first sighting!

We had them fall of 2024 and they were fabulous. This was just a tease, but still pretty.

Cool! As my mother used to say “you have to suffer for beauty” (I think she meant something quite different but …)

We saw them that night, too. And of course, I went outside to view them (my third time) – but the temperature was hovering around zero and my hands were frozen, so I didn’t stay out nearly as long as before. And never actually posted my pics.

Beautiful pictures.
I got to see them the summer after my dad died, while sitting on my mom’s deck. It felt pretty special.

It can be very spiritual.
