News you can’t use.

.

Useless and ridiculous. Like so much else these days…

.

.

See?

Ridiculous.

.

.

To be honest, I was unaware anyone did.

.

.

Turns out it does and that’s what produces the wonderful scent.

Sorry, not sorry.

.

.

There’s a festival devoted to menopause and no one told me!

.

.

Menopunkapalooza.

You can’t make this stuff up. And the fact that it’s held in Portland, Oregon doesn’t surprise me one bit.

👍

.

.

As one does.

.

.

Not your average souvenir, that.

.

.

But he did buy it in Texas, so… enough said.

  1. Honestly, I like animals either live or in pictures. Taxedermi is way of never laying your loved one to rest. And the way it is written about right next to a handbag is disgusting. Some people “know” how to write.

  2. Meopunkalpalooza definitely sounds like an episode of “Portlandia”.

As for statues, we played “Swing the Statue” as kids. The person who was It swung you by an arm around in circles, then let go so you were flung off. As soon as you could, you had to freeze in position. Then It wandered through the gallery and named all of the statues.

    1. Good man. That would be like cutting off our arms and legs with a chain saw. As for stuffing dead bodies? Can’t people at least wait till the animals die of natural causes? Hanging a deer head or a fish as a trophy (not mentioned here) is telling everyone that they don’t care about other living beings. I think Roy Roger’s and Dale Evans at least waited till Trigger and Scout were dead before stuffing them, as I remember. I sure hope so. But still sounds grotesque to me.
All lives are important, not just humans. We are not supposed to play gods.

  3. I was not aware Haaland had acquired such an interesting souvenir from his time here. It sounds like he asked for and got the full cowboy experience in Texas. I am happy he had a good time in the US, and perhaps one day he’ll sign on with a team here. As for the souvenir…that’s not the kind of “stuff” I’m intrigued by.
