We try to avoid it in the summer but we were in the area. Parking is always a nightmare but the restaurant wasn’t too crowded so that was nice.

True. We are going in September this year – still warm enough to walk around the harbor with an ice cream cone with (hopefully) fewer crowds.

That’s killing me as I sit here, unsble to sleep becaise I feel sticky from humidity at nearly 5am.

We had a good bit of humidity this summer. I despise it, but thankfully ours is fading now.

Ours used to be from thick marine layer in May only (May gray). Then June too (June gloom). Last year I added “July WHYYYY?” And it’s supposed to go all the way into fall this year. I’m built for 25% or less, not this 50-85% nightmare!

Very pretty! Reminds me of Apalachicola, Fl. I gather you are feeling better! I found with my hip that I often lost my appetite. Looks like a nice day trip. I look forward to when the healing is over and we can do some day trips again.

Not feeling better, just popped some extra strength Tylenol and walked with the pain. Not optimal, but it beats lying on the couch.

They did tell me that Tylenol is recommended by Docs more than Advil which I was taking.

I’ve tried every over the counter pain pill, rub, cream, gel, patch etc. Nothing kills it, but Tylenol takes enough of the edge off so I’m not screaming.
I call that a win.

Beautiful setting on a beautiful day outside. However, the best picture I see may just be that blackened shrimp with citrus slaw appetizer. That would not last long on our table…maybe we’d order one each with a couple of those caesar salads. Yum.

This reminds me of Apalachicola, Fl. Glad you are getting out and about. My appetite is now returning. Mike is still doing the cooking for now. We are having mussels tonight-lots of iron rich foods and so healthy! It is like the husband is reincarnated as a health bot!
