There are days when those vice grips, with some padding, would be welcome!
I saw that the US is opposing a proposed law in AU that would allow users to opt out of algorithms. The reason? “Freedom of speech” and some things being blocked. Versus all the shit that’s blocked when algorithms work? I delete browsing history,,or block it from being saved, specifically so I see things NOT “curated” for me!! I switched to DuckDuckGo last week and mostly really love it due to the automatic cookie blocking (roughly 800 every time I open the browser) and lack of History!!

Scar tape?

Skin colored silicone tape to reduce scarring. I can’t say whether or not it worked (I think it did – I have an obvious scar but I usually scar far worse) but it’s awesome for covering the healing scar so that it attract less attention. And it’s inexpensive. I got it from Amazon (search ‘scar tape’) but also saw a couple options at Walgreens.

I hope those are temporary tattoos. That would hurt like hell around a scar (I would think, anyway).

Ouch! They did have a large box delivered last week to PT while I was there and I remarked it looked like a body box. The PT er without much humor replied, ‘you are right, it does!’ I have a week’s break but do the PT at home and then once a week! Yay! progress

There is a clothing company that advertises “ballroom” jeans and “armachillo” underwear to cool you.
I once knew someone who had a ribbon tattooed on her amputation scar, with a bow tattooed at the end, so it looked like it had been laced up and tied to close.

My husband joked about getting a tattoo on his scar post surgery. But it’s healed so nicely you can barely see the scar anymore.
