Since I have a lot of (sitting around doing nothing but being miserable) time right now, I found a new obsession.
Plumes.
.

.
A French singer and animal activist who travels to zoos to play guitar. A soft spoken little fellow who discovered music really does hath charms to soothe the savage beast.
.

.
As well as the not so savage.
.

.
Every single creature he encounters is spellbound. They can’t get close enough.
I know this is a long clip but at least watch until the horses.

There’s something beautiful happening here.
.

.
A type of connection.
.

.
No matter how big or how small, all the animals respond to the music.

It’s a lovely distraction from the pain of knee replacement and for the very first time? I’m happy my Facebook algorithm is on board with sweet and touching daily clips.

When the penguin sings along.

Our dogs seem to like it when I play. Hope that guy doesn’t hit a bad note sitting that close to the tiger 😂😮💨

A bad review could definitely be dangerous.

I watched these in full. So heartwarming. Reminds me that animals are just like people . . . only better.
I’m surprised there was only a log fence between him and the rhino. That rhino could exhale forcefully and knock that fence down!

If you’re on FB search Plumes. He has smaller clips every so often and I love them all. Some of them are so beautiful I get choked up.

Interesting! I know sleeping after my hip replacement, total, was a bear on and off. Even now, some nights I am restless but can sleep on my back. Still careful with my side sleeping. When I see the camel, I think back a little over a decade ago when I was in good enough shape to ride a camel in the Middle East! I don’t mind that time is gone. I find water noises a good stress reliever.

I have a picture of my husband on a camel in Israel. Didn’t look like a comfortable ride.

I’ve been following him for some time – I’ve wondered if he sings in a particular, chosen, tone, meter – however music is defined – that particularly appeals to animals.

Soft and soothing. I can’t imagine they’d be that attracted to heavy metal..

You definitely want to pick the right song when singing to crocs and gators.

I’ve seen his videos on Instagram. Truly remarkable what he’s doing! (Truly remarkable that he hasn’t been eaten, too.)

If he plays Barry Manilow, all bets are off.
Bats too.
They hate Copacabana.
