Well… time told.

.

And I don’t like what it had to say.

.

.

Not one damn bit.

Sadly after all the roofing repairs my husband and his friends did the other day… nothing changed.

It’s still leaking.

.

.

So we went back up in the attic and realized the wood and shingles they replaced the other day probably weren’t high enough up on the roof.

.

.

So now our ceiling looks even worse.

.

.

And though he thinks he knows where to make the next repair?

.

.

It was on the day our first N’or Easter started blowing in… so I doubt it will be anytime soon.

  1. Oh River….sorry to hear the repairs didn’t quite work out. And that storm is being a bastard by blowing through when your house needs attention. Mother nature is a bitch and she does this on purpose, you know that right?

  2. Feel free to slap my Pollyanna face, but at least you DO have a home, when so many others don’t or are about to lose theirs…

On the flip side, my blog is littered with bitter posts wherein I yammered and spit about how my own house has not met my performance expectations, so I probably deserve that slap… 😉

    1. You’re right, and I do realize how truly we blessed we are during these difficult times. But it’s not always easy to remember when water is dripping on your head.. in your living room, while you’re sitting in your easy chair, blogging on your phone.
