.
Did anyone know the Keurig coffee company will now mix you a cocktail?
.
.
Yes, there is an alcoholic pod machine.
.
.
And while in theory it seems like a good idea ..
.
.
For $300 I think I’ll continue to mix my own.
.
.
The machine requires a CO2 canister for carbonation.
.
.
And they don’t exactly give away the pods either.
.
.
Maybe someday when I’m old and grey (okay, older and greyer) I’ll need mechanic cocktail help, but I’m not there yet.
.
Holy buckets Batman!

More pods for the landfill. That, and probably a lot of drunk dump rats.

There’s something about those pics that are inherently evil. My husband who recycles every tiny scrap of plastic, metal, paper and glass will toss those puppies like there’s no tomorrow. I hate them.

I haven’t been a bartender in almost half a century, now, and I still think I can kick the pants off of the krug machine in speed, quality and humor.
I didn’t check amazon, but I’ll bet you can by a cocktail shaker set, a blender AND the booze for less money than a krug machine.

If I drank, I’d probably consider that. But for $44.99, I can get a few bottles of – anything.

It’s one of those small appliances that ends up in the closet, next to the waffle maker and panini press….

In theory this sounds like a good idea, but like you, I’d rather mix my own drinks for now.

Half the fun is in the making of a cocktail.

No choice of shaken or stirred. A definite drawback.

Nothing screams “rock bottom!” like brewing up a cocktail from a pod! SMH…

And it takes all the fun out of giving your unsuspecting best friend a triple dose of gin.

No thank you. So many things wrong with this.
I am laughing at some of these comments though. I’m glad I’m not alone.
